Carol is a great piano teacher, she has a good balance of patience and knowing when to challenge. Both my boys have been having lessons with her for a couple of years now and they look forward to their them. I was delighted when my eldest son achieved a distinction for his playing. I’ve also had lessons as an adult beginner and found that I was able to make real progress. I would highly recommend Carol to anyone looking to take their first tentative steps into learning a musical instrument.

Carol taught my son Dan and helped him pass his Musical Theatre Diploma with a mark of 87%. Dan had been ready to take his exam when Covid hit and Carol helped him get back on track, motivated him and guided him with his song selections. He was very well prepared for his examination.Carol has also been teaching Dan Music Theory and he is making great progress. Carol is a very knowledgeable, inspiring and welcoming teacher.

My daughter came to Carol having failed here Grade 5 Theory twice. Carol was very thorough and quickly discovered my daughter was missing the basic understanding of Theory. She went back to basics, with her positive guidance and vast knowledge of music my daughter soon started to grasp it and passed with a very good mark. I would not hesitate to recommend Carol. She is truly committed and a very talented musician.
